About Worlds Away
In 1992, after an inspirational trip to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, Worlds Away started out as an import company that revitalized the painted tole look. Within a few years, they began to push design boundaries with additions in handcrafted lighting and hand painted metal furniture. Soon they were employing a distinctive mix including mirrored pieces, statement lighting, occasional furniture, and unique accessories. Their collection incorporates rich textiles, colored lacquer, lucite, grasscloth, and more to put a modern twist on the seamless style.
