The Artemis ceiling fan designed by George Kovacs was the winner of the 2005 Chicago Atheneaum Museum of Architecture and Design's Good design award.
The designer George Kovacs set the standard with his vision for unique contemporary designs for over 50 years.
Minka Aire's Artemis ceiling fan is a practice in fluidity. This fan pioneered an entire generation of ceiling fans for it's larger 59" size, three bladed modern look, and whimsical flowing arms. Almost all other ceiling fan manufacturers have followed this flowing design in one fashion or another, but the Artemis is the original.
The ceiling cap that comes with the fan allows the user to remove and add a frosted glass cap so that the LED light can be utilized. If the light is not preferred, simply place the cap into it's recessed cavity to dissapear.
