Terzani began as a creative design and production laboratory for lighting objects. Terzani roots itself in the noble craft traditions of wrought iron, carved wood, and Murano glass merged with contemporary form and function. Terzani Lighting is now headquartered in Italy, where skilled artisans design and manufacture each fixture. The Terzani collection features an extensive selection of floor and table lamps, sconces, pendants, torchieres, low- and line-voltage halogen lamps and a variety of architectural lighting.

Artisan culture and advanced technology is the main characteristic of Terzani's production philosophy. Terazani lamps and objects are lighting sculptures, and no longer accessories or cold technical supports, but the animated, vital protagonists of living areas, with a completely original and identifiable character. These original pieces complement traditional and contemporary spaces and are often found in luxurious hospitality venues.

Terzani's design process originates from the creative invention of the first sketch and goes on to an extremely accurate search of the perfect detail through the use of the right materials and technologies. This meticulous approach is typical of the artisan tradition but it also means a constant research of new technological solutions for Terzani. For example some of the glass design pieces by Terzani maintain the tradition of hand blowing but are then treated with the same sophisticated vacuum metallization technology used in automobile industry. Another example is Terzani's use of three dimensional laser cutting that now allows the creation of new forms and is still integrated with traditional hand welding performed by Italian masters. This guarantee's Terzani high standard of quality by fusing technology while preserving the culture and knowledge of an artisan aristocracy.
