Terzani began as a creative design and production laboratory for lighting objects. Terzani Lighting is now headquartered in Italy, where skilled artisans design and manufacture each fixture. For example some of the glass design pieces by Terzani maintain the tradition of hand blowing but are then treated with the same sophisticated vacuum metalization technology used in automobile industry. Another example is Terzani's use of three dimensional laser cutting that now allows the creation of new forms and is still integrated with traditional hand welding performed by Italian masters. This guarantee's Terzani high standard of quality by fusing technology while preserving the culture and knowledge of an artisan aristocracy.
