Oly was founded in Berkeley, California in 1999 by Bay Area designers Kate McIntyre and Brad Huntzinger, whose vision was to simply provide good designs at affordable prices. For the past 15 years Kate McIntyre and Brad Huntzinger have been creating memorable and award winning lighting fixtures for many different and exciting applications for both the commercial and residential. The Oly line is personally designed by both Kate McIntyre and Brad Huntzinger and then produced and manufactured at their own factory overseas. The Oly products are then warehoused and shipped out of their California location.

Oly has been featured in many magazines: including Better Homes and Gardens 2011, Unveiled 2011, Real Simple 2010, Manhattan 2010 and many more. Blending the traditional with the contemporary, Oly provides a style that works well in a wide range of environments.
